I need some kind soul to help me here in bonny Scotland. I bought a Sankyo 5 cm super 8 camera with no instructions and am not sure how to use the light meter. There are three settings on the side of the camera -A, M and C - how do I know which to setting to put on when the light meter tells me so and so? Sorry for being thick!!

Hi and welcome to the world of super 8
I dont know anything about that specific camera but I shall try and help, as no one else has come to your assitance.
What is the model number of your camera? as there is a Sankyo CM series, but there should be a number after the CM.
A should most likely mean automatic, meaning you switch it to A and it manages the exposure itself. M will be manual, which means there should also be a varible dial for increasing/decreasing exposure.
Im afraid Im not sure what C means, is it on the same dial as A and M?
